Our workshop takes care of your motorcycle.
A motorcycle that works every day needs a workshop that knows it. The Ehu workshop in Cotonou maintains and repairs Ehu motorcycles.
Maintenance
Have your motorcycle checked regularly: brakes, tires, battery, connections, and the oil change on mid-drive models. A well-maintained motorcycle breaks down less and goes farther.
The schedule: a service every 3 months or every 5,000 km, whichever comes first. On chain-driven motorcycles, the chain is cleaned, lubricated and adjusted every 1,000 km.

The battery
It is built into the motorcycle and is not removed at home: only an Ehu technician opens it, to inspect or repair it.
Warranty
Two years for the motorcycle and for each battery, up to a mileage limit: the warranty ends at whichever comes first. A repair under warranty costs you nothing: parts, labor and diagnosis.
The warranty starts the day you receive the motorcycle, when you sign the delivery report, which carries its frame number.
The battery

up to 60,000 km
Each battery is covered separately. During the warranty period, it is replaced if it no longer charges or if its capacity falls below 80% of the original.
The motorcycle

up to 25,000 km
Motor, controller, frame, wiring and electrical systems, charger, dashboard, lights, fork and suspension.
Wear parts
Not covered
Tires, inner tubes, chain and sprockets, brake pads and discs, bulbs, fuses, mirrors, grips, plastic and rubber parts. A defect found at delivery is covered.
For it to apply
- Servicing by Ehu Motors or its partners, every 3 months or every 5,000 km.
- On chain-driven motorcycles, chain maintenance every 1,000 km.
- Charging with the supplied charger, on a 220 V outlet, or at an Ehu station.
- All work done by Ehu Motors or its partners. The battery, labels and seals are never opened or removed.
- Normal use: maximum load respected, no riding through deep water.
If a condition is not met, only the faults it causes are excluded: the rest of the motorcycle stays covered.

Times run from when the motorcycle is brought to the workshop, or when the fault is reported to our helpline. Working days exclude Sundays and public holidays.
What is not covered
Not covered: accident, fall or impact; immersion or flooding; overloading; hardware or software modification; repairs or parts not supplied by Ehu Motors or its partners; normal wear; theft, fire, vandalism; natural disaster; indirect damage, such as lost income.
