Every Ehu motorcycle has two charging ports: a slow port for a home outlet, and a fast port for Ehu stations.
Where to charge
At an Ehu station
Along your route, a quick charge at an Ehu station, through the fast port.
Charging time At home, a full charge takes about 4 hours. At an Ehu station, fast charging takes the battery from 20 to 80% in 30 minutes.

Ehu Motors was the first company to build a network of charging stations in Benin.
That network is growing: ask us on WhatsApp for the station nearest to you.
What affects range
Between 100 and 120 km per charge. But every day is different:
- Riding style: hard acceleration and high speed use more energy.
- Weight: a passenger or cargo takes more energy.
- The road: dirt roads, cobblestones and hills do too.
- Maintenance: well-inflated tires and a motorcycle serviced by the workshop go farther.
Your battery
It is built into the motorcycle and belongs to you. Only an Ehu technician opens it, to inspect or repair it.
